Description

The Husqvarna Z248F sits in a sweet spot for upgraders: real Husqvarna build quality, a 48-inch deck wide enough to chew through 2–3 acre yards quickly, and a Kawasaki V-Twin engine known for clean starts and long-haul reliability. The combination is one of the more capable residential zero-turns at this price level.

Power comes from a 726cc Kawasaki FR Series 23 HP V-Twin OHV engine, paired with dual ZT-2200 hydrostatic transmissions. Steering is via twin lap bars — push both forward to drive, pull back to reverse, and offset them for true zero-radius pivots around trees, fences and beds.

The 48-inch ClearCut™ fabricated deck uses reinforced 11-gauge welded steel, deeper-than-average cut chamber and improved blade airflow to deliver clean cuts in tall, wet or thick grass. Twelve cut-height positions between 1.5 and 4 inches are selected with a foot-assist deck-lift system and a single dash lever.

Operator comfort includes a high-back seat with armrests, ergonomic lap bars, dual cup holders and a hinged service-access platform. Husqvarna backs the Z248F with a 3-year limited residential warranty including the deck.
