Powered by a 19 HP Briggs & Stratton Intek OHV single-cylinder engine and a hydrostatic automatic drive transmission, the Bronco 42 trades the complexity (and price tag) of premium tractors for a simple, dependable platform you can buy in confidence and put to work week after week.

The 42-inch stamped steel cutting deck delivers efficient mowing for typical 1–2 acre yards while still being narrow enough to fit through a standard 36-inch garden gate. Cut height adjusts via a single dash lever between roughly 1.5 and 4 inches.

The automatic drive hydrostatic transmission removes the clutch and shifter from the picture entirely. Push the foot pedal forward to accelerate, ease off to slow down, push the heel pedal to reverse — that is the entire learning curve. The 18-inch turning radius lets you trim around trees, garden beds and play structures without dragging the deck across landscaping.
